2024 SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED AT THE REUNION ON SATURDAY OF CELEBRATION
Deadline is May 1st. Apply Today!

One scholarship award is available to eligible 2024 graduating seniors from a
high school outside of Lakeside/USD 272 or students attending any higher education
institution that did not graduate from the Lakeside/USD 272 district.
They must be a descendant of a confirmed DHSAA Member and live in the US.
Recipients are welcome to apply each year. Applications will be available  here each year.

Tetlow - Downs Community Scholarship

The Tetlow - Downs Community Scholarship is administrated by the Greater Salina Community Foundation 

Students can begin applying for this at www.gscf.org on November 1st of each year. Deadline is February 15th.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Applicants shall be in good standing to graduate from Lakeside High School, Downs, KS

  • Applicants must attend a public of private college

  • Applicants must plan to major in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

  • Agriculture may be considered if it is a part of a STEM area. Example: Agricultural Engineer, Science, etc.

  • Previous scholarship recipients are eligible to re-apply as part of applicant pool if they have a minimum 2.5 cumulative college GPA.
