DHSAA COMMUNITY PROJECT 2020 - 2021
2 Phase Sidewalk Replacement
The sidewalks surrounding the student & fan parking lot at the corner of Morgan and Delaware & from Delaware to Ross have been in great disrepair for years. These sidewalks are not only used by students but by anyone attending events at Lakeside Jr/Sr High. The Downs High School Alumni Association has taken on this community project to help spruce up the area making our community safer and more appealing to our out of town guests. As a non profit organization, all donations, small or large will be greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. Checks can be made out to DHS Alumni Association - LHS Sidewalk Project. Donations may be dropped off at the Farmers & Merchants Bank in Cawker City, Miller Hardware in Downs or Waconda Boats and Motors in Glen Elder. Your donation may also be mailed to Downs High School Alumni Association, PO Box 93, Downs, Kansas 67437 or use the Donate button here to give by PayPal using your credit or debit card. Applications for grants will also be made, but we need to show community support with donations! All extra donations collected will be used on another project needed at the Lakeside Schools In Cawker or Downs.
