History

After graduation day, 40yrs. ago, with one of the greatest classes that ever walked the halls at DHS was like losing family; we all grew to be a very close class. I attended Salina Beauty Academy and became a cosmetologist. I married a life long partner and wonderful man Scott Pirotte from Cawker City, Ks. We have been married for 39 years and have 3 children, Christopher, Carissa and Lance. We have 5 grandchildren, Sabrina, Elijah, Kyra, Shea and Dolton we also have a great grandson, Johnathan. We were very active in scouting as leaders for our children. Our youngest son Lance made Eagle scout. We love the outdoors gardening, fishing, baseball etc. We have moved a lot over the yrs. but Phillipsburg, Ks. is our home for five yrs. now, we are finally settled and hope some day to retire.

Memories

PE class, Driver's Ed and prom was the most enjoyable. The one thing I remember the most was learning a dance called the dip about the 6th grade level and it seemed so (!!!) probably compares to the grind today! Ha
