History

I have been married to Brian for 36 years this July. We have 4 grown children, Keely age 30 married to Matt. They have one daughter, Ashley 9 months. Brooke, age 27, married to Travis. They have three children, Ty 8, Leah, age 4 and Carli, age 18 months. Blake age 25, teaches and coaches in Manhattan and Olivia age 21, attends K-State. We lived in the Tipton community on a farm 6 miles northeast of Tipton. We raised our family and lived there for 28 years. We farmed and raised cattle. Our children were involved in a lot of sports including MAYB basketball so we spent a lot of our time watching sporting events. I worked at various places in the Tipton area including Ringneck Ranch (I cleaned birds), substitute cook and custodian at the school and other jobs. I enjoy cooking and am well known for cooking, baking and canning abilities. Brian went to work for the postal service in Beloit 9 years ago as a city carrier and I went to work for the Beloit Juvenile Correctional Facility 5 years ago. I do activities with the girls, games, sports, crocheting and I also teach them about horticulture. We have a greenhouse and plant a garden in the spring. Two years ago this November, we moved to the Doyle farm east of Beloit since we both work in Beloit. We enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren during our off time. We also have a large garden and do a lot of canning.

Memories

Being a member of Coach Gary's 'Tumbling Team' and going to other towns sporting events and performing. Also all the other things we learned how to do in his PE class such as bowling, golf, wrestling, basketball etc.
