History

Graduated from Fort Hays State in 1973 BS in education and finished my Masters at Wichita State. Tim and I have 2 daughters, Megan and Jamie. Megan plans to marry this November and Jamie is still our free-spirited one. This year will complete 36 years in education. I am a principal of Rocky Heights Middle school with 1323 6th,7th 8th students and a fantastic staff!

Memories

Chinese fire drills on Main Street, Captain Quarters, cheering in the rain, learning to drive stick, earning my typing pen in Mrs. Stevenson's typing class, going to Texaco with Elaine during lunch, getting caught cheating in Mr. Zimmerman's class, parties in Cheryl's garage, and of course going to dances with Martha, Mary, Rosie, Ginger and Susie! I don't remember to much about the academic part of school but I do have many fond memories of DHS!!
