Name: (Cowley) Wooddancer-Fisher, Janet HistoryI live in the Tucson Mountains with my husband Tom and our dog Maggie. We're both teachers; I teach 8th grade language arts, and Tom teaches primary special education. We love motorcycles and ride as much as possible -- in the desert on our
dirt bikes or on the road on our street-bikes. We are planning a trip to Downs, hopefully for the celebration, and will make a few stops on the way to check out the off-road trails. As for the "kids" -- Jeff and his wife Colleen will begin teaching at an
international school in Jamaica. Heather, an artist, just finished a 10k run in LA, and James is an attorney there. Granddaughter Kali lives in San Diego with her mom. MemoriesSo many memories and so long ago... I guess what comes to mind first is going to the ball games, especially with the band on the bus. Football season could be outrageously cold and we still played those fanfares. One year I tried to get out
of the marching band (I decided my baritone was too heavy) by taking up twirling. Diane Pahls and I practiced all summer because we thought there would be an opening. Then Donna Hughes moved to town with her baton and that was the end of Diane and my twirling
endeavors. I also tried out for cheerleader, but that didn't work either. In the end, forced on the field in a band uniform, I decided that marching could actually be fun.
