Name: (Sutter) Meier, Ann HistoryMy husband, Art, and I live in Topeka, Kansas. We have 5 children, all grown and married, and 12 grandkids, with number 13 due in November. They all live here with the exception of our daughter Cristina and her husband, Joe, who, with their 2 children, Ella and Drew, live in Manhattan. Our grandkids range in age from 15 down to 1. They are the jewels in our crown. We farm approximately 1200 acres all in corn or soybeans. We grow some wheat, though not much.
I now am semi-retired, as much as a farm wife can be, and spend the lion's share of my time helping out the kids and grandkids. Art and I occasionally take daytrips and have been to some interesting places. We usually take a week or two in January to go to the Gulf Coast, South Padre Island, Texas to be exact and have a ball doing that. That's because we're usually the youngest ones there. HA! Would love to hear from any former Downs Dragons.
