Name: Brown, Ronald Rex HistoryHowdy - My life experiences can be summed up as
work, marriage, kids, education, United States Air Force career, travel,
moving, out-of-doors activities, teacher, community volunteer, health issues
and sunset. I worked all my life until June 1999. married 50 years to
Rosanne. We had two children: Steven and Christine. I earned a bachelor
degree in physics from Washburn U., a Masters degree in Atmospheric Sciences
from U.of Washington, one full year at Texas A&M in meteorology, two years
at Maxwell AFB in Command and Staff and War College, U. of Colorado for
teaching certificate. I lived in 3 foreign countries and visited over 50.
Moved 25 times. Hobbies include: hunting, fishing, boating, mountain hikes,
skiing, sky diving, golf, photography, surf boarding,vwhite water rafting,
horses, etc. Active in church, BSA,and local clubs. Taught H.S. kids science
and math. Wife now wheel-chair bound and I have battled Parkinson's Disease
for 12 years. Sunsets in Colorado are magnificent! What's next? MemoriesSo many, so little space! The most tramatic was moving away from Downs the day after graduation.My first deep kiss!? The "Top Ten Group." A 97 yard touchdown run at Lucas (Mom running the entire way.) Expelled from school for shooting over the building while chasing geese (reinstated before Friday's game.) Long evenings in the car with a loved one. Dragging on the south bridge. Moments when teachers treated me as an adult untimely leading to my teaching in H.S. Hanging the typewriters out of the class windows on sash cords. Sodas at the drug store. Secret pacts with friends (can not remember them now.) Last day of school.
