History

I have lived in Hays, Kansas for almost 40 years. I still work full time at the First United Methodist Church as the Administrative Secretary. I have been there for over 24 years. I lost my husband Harry in an automobile accident almost 4 years ago. I have three children and three grandchildren. I love getting news from old friends. I do get to Downs once in a while and plan to attend the Reunion on July 11, 2009. I will be glad to see everyone there. Calls and emails welcome! Nancy

School Days, School Days! I had a wonderful childhood in Downs, Kansas. It has been a long time ago but in some ways it seems a short time ago. My class is planning a 55th class reunion in two years which I look forward to. I love Downs! I hope to see you on July 11. Nancy Fink Bates (1956)
