History

Attended Jr & Sr year in Downs!! Married Harold Dunkleberg - moved to California the fall of 1956!! Had 2 children Dee & Dan!! Worked at Pacific Bell telephone as an operator!! Moved back to Osborne in 1972! Harold died in 1979! Remarried - Emery Poore in 1980. Have lived on a farm North of Alton since then!! Have done lots of Traveling to foreign and US destinations. Emery retired from farming this January, but we still plan on living on our farm till ????  Health is good for both of us!! We enjoying family and friends and have continued to keep in close contact with Donna Kay Voss Akens, Jean Bishop Fink and Donna Moorehead Johnson and Charlotte Hums Sheets! We get together at least 2 times in the summer months when Donna Kay comes from California!! Lots of fun talking of old times!!

Memories

It was easy to get acquainted with a lot of neat people!! Have kept in touch all these years! Our Junior Senior banquet we had to go out to get some limbs from bushes and trees, so we went out south of town and a guy came along and told us to get the heck out of there!! He had a gun!! We scurried !!! Sr sneak was fun with Miss Yeager as one of our sponsor's. We went to Denver and ColoRADO Springs!! She informed us no boys in girls rooms or girls in boys rooms! Duane Nichols came and blew smoke in our key hole and we grabbed him and hid him in our closets! She came in looked under beds and said ok girls I know he is in here and opened the closet door and said Boo and she about fainted!! WE all had a big laugh!!
