MemoriesWas very young when I started high school as a freshman. Had just turned 13 and wasn't old enough to wear a bra. I would be so embarrassed in gym that I would hide in a booth by myself to change clothes so no one would know (as if they couldn't tell) I remember chemistry was my favorite class. Armin Brandhorst was the teacher and I thought he was so smart. I still today remember the names of the chemicals and how they combine. I loved science. I would get so frustrated in Home Ec, because I had for so many years on the farm cooked, and made my own clothes. Mrs. Dillon had the nerve to make me baste everything I sewed.
OtherDean & I were married for over 22 years and had a good life together. We did lots of boating and camping with our two children. Lived on Guam, Liberal, Salina, Junction City, and then Topeka. He passed away from the complications of a stroke and fall in 07 and was sad for all of us, even tho we were divorced by that time.
