DHS Alumni Association Hard at Work
 As you may have already noticed, the DHS
Alumni Association is hard at work to make this organization a success. Local members are excited to have several projects going
and hope that we will have your support through your annual membership. We want to hear your feedback and ideas on current projects or future ones. We need volunteers to serve on committees and help getting projects completed. We all remember the Dragon
Pride that we shared as individuals and as a community. Just because the school no longer exists, doesn’t mean we have to let that DHS Dragon Spirit die too!
Scholarship Committee
 A committee for the DHS Scholarship will be formed in order to set up the selection process with guidelines and
requirements for future scholarship recipients. |

Project Progress
We are making progress with two of our current projects. We have located a good portion of the items that were saved when DHS closed. At the present time they are being kept at a storage facility as we sort and catalog the inventory. Much of what will be
displayed during the reunion is part of that. We are looking for a donation of a small building, store front or empty house in Downs to fix a permanent display of the memorabilia so that everyone will be able to tour and reminisce. If you have old
uniforms or other items stored away, we would appreciate any donations. |
